Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Pocket Camera Link (the "App") handles information when you use the App. It applies to the current submitted version of the App.
No Account Required
The App does not require registration, sign-in, or a developer-operated user account.
Camera, Audio, and Media
Camera video, microphone audio, photos, videos, pairing information, connection data, preferences, and diagnostic logs are processed on your devices. Live media and user-selected files may be transferred directly between paired devices over a local peer-to-peer or local network connection. The App does not upload this content to a developer-operated server.
Device Permissions
- Local Network: used to discover and connect nearby iPhones and transfer live media and selected files.
- Camera: used by Camera B to provide live video and capture photos and videos.
- Microphone: used by Camera B to provide live audio and include audio in recordings when enabled.
- Add to Photos: used only when you explicitly export a photo or video to the system Photos library.
You can manage these permissions in iOS Settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working.
Advertising and Third-Party Services
The App includes Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google's User Messaging Platform. An optional rewarded ad is available from the home screen and is requested only after you choose to view it. Advertising and privacy-consent features require an internet connection.
Depending on your region, consent choices, device settings, and Google's configuration, Google may process information such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, device identifiers, advertising data, product interactions, performance information, and diagnostic data for advertising, analytics, security, and fraud prevention. The App does not request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission in the current submitted version. Google handles information under its own policies and applicable consent choices.

Storage, Retention, and Deletion
Photos and videos remain on the device or devices selected by you until you delete them. Pairing information, preferences, and local diagnostic information may remain on a device until you clear them, reset the App, or uninstall the App. Content exported to the system Photos library must be managed in the Photos app. Information processed by Google is retained according to Google's policies and your available privacy choices.
Security
The App uses Apple-provided cryptographic technologies to protect pairing, control messages, live media, and media transfers between connected devices. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 and is not designated as Made for Kids. We do not knowingly operate an account system or developer server that collects personal information from children through the App.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App's features, third-party services, or data practices change. Any updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
