Getting Started
- Choose one or more Chinese characters from the Library.
- Create an A4 worksheet and print it.
- Complete the worksheet by hand.
- Open Scoring and photograph or import the completed worksheet.
- Review the character scores and available stroke-level feedback.
- Save the result if you want to keep it in your practice history.
Worksheet Scoring
Supported worksheets: scoring is designed for A4 worksheets generated by Hanzi Coach. Worksheets from other sources or with different layouts may not be recognized correctly.
For better results: place the worksheet on a flat, well-lit surface, keep the entire page visible, avoid shadows and glare, and hold the camera parallel to the paper.
About scores: results are intended as practice guidance. Camera angle, lighting, paper distortion, writing tools, and stray marks may affect the score.
Troubleshooting
If a worksheet is not recognized: confirm that it was generated by the app and that all page markers and QR codes are clearly visible.
If camera access is unavailable: allow camera access in iOS Settings, or use the photo import option.
If the app does not respond: close and reopen the app. If the problem continues, restart your device and make sure iOS is up to date.
When contacting support: include your device model, iOS version, app version, and a short description of the issue. A screenshot is helpful when available.
